CDR REISSUES AUD$10
the following dualpLOVER titles have all sold out their original pressings. but seeing as we have an excess of their original covers we decided to make them available again on CDR at a reduced prices AUD$10 online (including shipping) or an even cheaper AUD$5 at dualpLOVER shows until we've run out of covers as well.

alternahunk

alternahunk - alternahunk.
soon after the labels inception with 'a kombi' dualpLOVER became a partnership when swerve joined forces with lucas to form a partnership. their first project together was to release drone disco queens 'alternahunk' who at the time had been one of the pairs favorite band's in sydney. phoebe jeebes off beat electronics and jasmine guffonds sterling bass lines combined with the ethereal voice of Adrienne patrick made them a one of a kind in the world of electronic music in the 90's talented.

"manage to fuse aqua with throbbing gristle without letting the seams show"

mascara sue

mascara sue - biro biro.
J-pop parody supremo from the far more attractive 50% of Machine Gun TV. What a single yellow female can do in a flat the size of your average kitchen is astounding. Gorgeous nonsensical pop interwoven with nothing but the best quality white noise that only poverty can buy. Doing for casio driven noise pop what Milli Vanilli did for karaoke.

noise ramones

noise ramones - rocket to dna.
initially eye submitted this to us for the rebirth of fool vol 1 but seeing the track clocked in at a whopping 23 min we decided it was more fitting as a release on its own along with 4 remixes by dj smallcock.

sweden

sweden - same dif.
WINNER front man takes our ears to town with some horrendous renditions of classic hits like 'white rabbit' 'yummy yummy yummy' 'schools out' etc leaving gary bradbury takes care of mashing the sonic's, enough to put you off karaoke for life.

brabury

bradbury - ruffini corpuscle.
a right cracker of electronic music genius, bradbury being one of the genres pioneers with groups like the severed heads knows that making electronic music aint about keeping up dance trends. bradbury attention to detail can make simple looped based music seam organic to the point where it almost sounds played and not just turned on, a rare skill indeed.

"Bradbury has the rare double, not only is he meticulous in his execution, but he's been able to produce not one but fourteen new atmospheric worlds, where the laws of nature no longer exist, but chaos is kept at bay by Bradbury's odd and innovative logic."
Bob Baker Fish - cyclicdefrost

volvox

volvox - bad earth & the damage begins at the mouth.
the first two installments of the spill / dualpLOVER reissue trilogy of one of the most unique but unheralded bands to ever exist. the damage begins at the mouth documents the bands best unreleased material while bad earth was a CD reissue of their 1991 cassette release that was initially available as an edition of 100.

"perhaps the best band of their time. Certainly, "Huhnenblut" is worth the lives of ten thousand Cobains."

gina v'dirio - sailor songs

This record is dedicated to the ocean.I`ve always had a great affinity to water. If you put something into water it shines.Always.There is nothing more good, impressive, dangerous, beautiful, great and essential that you can watch with your eyes..My grandfather was bulding ships. So this record is in memorium of him. Fishes, boats and the dance of the waves, the colour of water are forever in my heart.Water stays water. My ocean can also float out of the tab.I don`t care. I invited friends to sing my Sailor Songs because I adore their voices. The first song was recorded in 1998 ( with Larry Wessel`s amazing tembre through the telephone).Hello Larry:Where are you?! It took forever to release the record because I liked to spend time with the Sailor Songs so much; if everything was desperate I thought: I have got my Sailor Songs-they will keep me fine. To me the recordings are very private. So everybody is invited to share this piece of privacy. It is a good privacy. Let your diamonds shine in the oceans.Do something good and throw it in the water!

Yours Gina V. D`Orio
